Flinders University Library is grateful for the generosity of donors that enables the University to add immediate and enduring value to its information resources collection. The Library’s intent is to align collections with the education and research priorities of the University.
The Library is highly selective in evaluating and accepting physical donations to ensure we make the most of our limited resources and space. Donations of material will be considered if they meet the following criteria:
the donation supports the study or research programs of the University, or the Library's Special Collections
the size, format and condition of the donation will not result in unreasonable costs to the University in relation to processing, preservation, or storage requirements
the donation does not carry undue ownership or access restrictions
The Library’s preferred resource format is electronic/online, given the significant advantages of 24/7, remote and multi-user access and portability on mobile devices.
The Library encourages donors to contribute to the Library Fund via the Donate Online Form on the Flinders University’s Giving Pages.
